House Competitions

I am a student from Park School for Girls. Today I am going to talk about our house competitions. Last year and the year before we won. If we win now, we will win three years in a row.  I am very happy because I am in house drama every year since 2015 and last year we did a Romeo and Juliet themed play and we won .This year I am a main character and last year I had a solo for house music. This year I didn’t. I am so excited for house dance because I wasn’t here last time.

SUMMER SPORTS

Hi I’m 7 years old. I go to Park School for Girls. Summer sports is fun. We do skipping, jumping, racing and bucket ball. It is after school on Wednesday. We take our P.E bag home and bring them back the next day and that is on Thursday .

Favourite Subjects

My School is Park School for Girls. I have lots of favourite subjects and one of my favourite subjects is called Maths. I like maths because you learn new things like Time Tables and my teacher sometimes makes it fun and we always have fun. We do lots of Topics like The Time and lots more.  We do have tests but they’re boring and hard sometimes but you don’t need to worry. There really good because you teacher knows what you know or not know .My second favourite subject is English. I like English because we learn new words in every English lessons especially spelling tests are sometimes easy and hard. My last favourite subject is Science because we do really fun actives like experiments and right now were learning about rocks and going to have a test. I hope it’s a little easy and I get a good marks. 28.6.18 bye

Pantomime

Last year we went on our first pantomime trip it was Cinderella and then we went on our second one. It was Sleeping Beauty it awesome. After that we saw Beauty and the Beast and then we saw Matilda. All the girls love going to the pantomime and I do.

On the 14^th of March we went to Voice in a Million in the Wembley Arena. When we got there we got signatures. Then we had a tea-break. Then we went for our picture to be taken. Then the parents came for the show. We sang lots of songs and we had lots of fun!

Assemblies

I am going to tell you about the assemblies at Park School for Girls, they are fun. We have a whole school assembly at the beginning of a school year or at the end of a school year. The head teacher says a few words to say good bye at the end of a school year. Also she says a few words at the beginning of a school year to welcome us back. All of the preps from reception to year 6 have assemblies every Wednesday and different classes show us their work or what they have been leaning. Sometimes people from other places come in and teach us like a man from Mad Science came in and taught us some Science. A lady from NSPCC came in and taught us how to log in to child line. Also we learn about what other classes are learning about.

Barleylands farm

Hi, I am 7 an a half and I am in year 3. We went to Barleylands farm as a trip. First we made some pizza then we had a tour of the animals. Then we fed the animals. After we fed the animals we went to eat lunch and then we went to the play place. Then we went to the gift shop but it was not open so we went back to school. I had a bit of my pizza and the teacher ordered the presents because it was shut. Reception to year 6 came to Barleylands farm.

Hi, I’m eight years old, I’m in year three. I go to Park School for Girls. Our uniform is red and white. I’m Writing about the art room because art is my favourite subject. Art is my favourite subject because you get your hands dirty and you get to be creative, Either way we have fun making or painting. Every Tuesday we have art and D&T. when we are getting ready, we go to get our overalls, Next we line up and then go up to the Art room. Everything we do is fun, except when we get told off!!

Hi, I study at Park School for Girls and when we play it`s lots of fun because the girls are very nice. It is also fun because we have some balls and skipping ropes. We also do netball and it is fun too. Also we always play with other people. I chose the playground because it helps me get fresh and it`s exciting. We play different games like ‘It’, `Stuck in The Mud` and we play races and I have 3 main friends in school. We also have 2 playgrounds - a small one and a big one - and as a game we have hopscotch.

Culture Day

Culture day

I study at Park School for Girls and every year we play cultural games, dress up in our culture clothes and we have lots of fun. This year we had a quiz, it was hard to remember. We learnt Nigerian money and how to tie a head wrap. We watched an Indian movie. A teacher put henna on us. We learnt a New Zealand game too.

Making fossils

Experiments in Science

In science we made fossils out of plasticine and plaster of paris. We got a shell out of a pot then we poured it into the plasticine.  After we went to our science teacher then she made our plaster of paris. Next it was thick and gooey. Then we poured the plaster of paris in the plasticine. We had to leave the plaster of paris to set for one [1] or two [2] days. After we took the plaster of paris out of the plasticine and the plaster of paris was hard and it looked like a real fossil when it actually was not a real fossil. And the plasticine was still soft.   

The Park School Way

PARK SCHOOL WAY

In Park School for Girls everyone is equal. It’s fun here, but some people get too excited and start to get rude so we made something called the Park School Way. There are lots of things in the Park School Way like kindness, honesty and sharing. Here we have learned lots about listening as well. We are normally very good at lots of lessons and to make sure we are good we have house points and we get prizes. 

Houses of parliament

To get to the Houses of Parliament, it was a long journey. We first went to the train station, then we sat on two trains and had to walk so much. After, we had to go on fifteen trains. Later on we had to walk so much and when we got there we had a small snack. We had to wait for the other group and when it was our turn we went inside and we had to take off our bags. Then we had to wear a visitor pass around our neck. After that they gave us some information. A long time later we saw a real debate and another debate. After we went on two trains and had to walk so much and finally got to school. I really enjoyed our trip.
